About
Us And Our Goals:
The
Coalition for Community Living was formed in December 1978. Administrators and staff
 of present Fairweather Lodge programs were the
principal people organizing this coalition. The Fairweather Lodge
is a residential – vocational community program providing
opportunities for individuals diagnosed with persistent psychiatric
conditions. The Lodge program allows consumers to function at their
optimum potential. This includes learning ways to discuss and solve
any problems or concerns along with helping one another in the
process. The founding members have decided to broaden their
interest beyond the Fairweather Lodge and have stated the following
as their goals:

To
promote community support systems as well as to educate the public
about Fairweather Lodge programs. |

To
engage in research to meet the needs of individuals diagnosed with
psychiatric conditions. |

To
provide information relating to such research to care providers. |
